Christmas Party!!

Brynnly is my most excited partier child!  She always wants to have a party!  I LOVE IT!

Julia had a going away, Lauren and Baylor are both going to celebrate their birthdays, so obviously Brynnly needed a party before we leave all her little friends!
Christmas was the PERFECT reason to party!!
She invited all her bestest friends...
Domenica, Veda, Emma, Lily, Ava, Kassidy, Brooklyn, Evie, and Lauren

I loved prepping for this party!!
Little graham cracker gingerbread houses for them to each decorate and Brynnly had the idea to give them gift bags full of the materials they would need to make a couple crafts! SO CUTE!
The girls loved decorating their houses

What's a party without amazing snacks?!?
These donuts were my favorite!  And The Grinch skewers were a big hit!

We played a gift exchange game that was super fun and funny because they had to switch the gift they were holding to the left or right depending on what I said in my poem.
Everybody got something cool!
This is such a great group of girls!!!

We also played a candy cane relay which was so fun and exciting!

The girls all enjoyed the photo booth too!

I love parties, and I love little girls,  I love Christmas, and I MOST of all love BRYNNLY!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Preparing For Christmas

A fun tradition we have is the little kid Christmas tree.  It is incredible, everybody is taller than the tree now.  No more little little kids around here.  Nonetheless, it is still a favorite to decorate.

Brynnly insists it is her year to put the star on the big tree, so we obliged.  She is after all the "baby".

We made sure to get in the mood and watch It's A Wonderful Life right away.  We love that movie!  Well, 3/4th of us do.  I believe Baylor was up in my room watching a football game and Brynnly reluctantly watched.  Still, this picture warms my heart!  It is so cozy in our home, and it never was far from our minds that this was our last Christmas in this house.  I have loved having this big wonderful mantle to decorate.

We went down the St. Vrain Christmas walk.  We had all kinds of hopes and expectations, it has become one of our favorite traditions.  This year seemed a little low key, we were surprised.  Not as many people and not as many lights.  But it is still fun and we love talking walks together.

These guys LIGHT UP MY CHRISTMAS!

Nothing was forgotten this season, even amidst packing and moving prep.  The Advent Fairy gave us this gingerbread village to do and each kid got their own little house to decorate.  Everyone's style came through and they all had fun.

CHRISTMAS IS SO MUCH FUN!!!

CA Thanksgiving!

In preparation for moving to Brentwood, CA we traveled there to check it out over Thanksgiving Break. Swimming on the night before Thanksgiving sounds like a new tradition I would love to have! HOw cool is it to have fall leaves in your pool!?! So California! We were loving it.

We spent Thanksgiving day at the Johnsons. Kristin had such a beautiful set up and it was fun getting to know her girls. We played kickball and you guys worked on a gingerbread Turkey. And by work on, I guess drinking the icing!!! Hahaha!

I got everyone matching Christmas jammies! They have palm trees and a beach Santa- perfect for way to get us ready for living in California!
Cute little cuddle bug. You got this bear at a store on our drive here and love him! You're a good stuffed animal mama!

Pumpkin Carving

The night before Halloween, but we were getting it done!
I even got to wear my new cute apron!  With teaching and Ryan gone, time is kind of flying by, but with lots of patience we accomplish everything we need to.  Tonight was all about the pumpkin carving and caramel apples!

Brynnly LOVES carving and getting out the guts!  She's so excited and had a lot of fun!

Lauren in her typical fashion did NOT love the carving and guts.
But she wanted those seeds to roast so she helped.
The smell is atrocious to her, so she covered her mouth and nose.
Brynly made sure to breathe in deep and show Lauren there is nothing to be repulsed by.
She's such a character!

Baylor and I took a little carving break and enjoyed us some caramel apples.
So much better to just dip slices....mmmmmm, DELICIOUS!

We completed the very most simplest carving and we all thought it was ADORABLE!!
Brynnly named him Marlo and wanted me to bring him to my room so he could sleep in the room with us. She's so cute and funny.
It was truly a wonderful Halloween Eve!

You've Got It All

Tonight you had dance and while we waited for Lauren to finish at dance we went to the Longmont library. I just LOVE libraries and think they are so cool. I hope they will always be around.

I love watching you pick out and read books. You are so dang adorable!

Then this is you at one of Baylor's football games. You are always toted around to your siblings activities and you make the most of it. What a great sister and supporter you are! I know I sure am glad to have a little buddy with me!
