Frequent Flyer!

We took another trip! One week after being in Vegas, we flew, this time just you, me, and Baylor to Illinois to see my BFF Rebecca and our Papa Pete! How lucky are you? When you fly for free you really get around! :)

You did so well on the flight! It helps that you still nurse! (what are we going to do about that???) You liked having your own seat on the flight there, thanks to the plane not being full.

At Rebecca's house you adapted well, playing in her awesome backyard was a FAVE!

You are so darn CUTE!!

You developed this new CHEESY smile this weekend and I LOVE it! Cracks me up. You have such a sweet, smart, and FUNNY personality developing.

We found a store with your nickname!!! How cool is this! Haaaaahaaaaaa!!! Binny!!

Next we visited Papa Pete. Grandma met us in Illinois and it was so wonderful to have her with us! I love this picture of her helping you walk up to the door.

Grandpa Pete was so happy to meet you.

He loves you. He is so proud to have you in his life, you are important to him. He wants the best for you too.

My grandparents were some of the most important people in my life and I love them dearly. It was special and important to me that Grandpa meet you and you get to be in their home, it is a special place for me. My grandma would have LOVED having you in her home, she would have loved you!! But I have a knowledge that she took care of you and lead you to me, before you were here on earth.

I just know it.

You and Baylor are so cute and funny together! Oh my goodness you can be best buds or greatest foes. But you're always ADORABLE and HILARIOUS!

We went to the apple orchard and saw some animals and had YUMMY apple doughnuts and apple cider.

It was such a FABULOUS trip and you sis sooooo GREAT! I love you and loved showing you off and was so proud of you. You're MY GIRL!!!

You were teething (your last 12month molar! the other 3 are in.) and tired, but were such a good girl!! you love being outside.
grandma said, "you're a BOY" cause you sure don't care about being messy or dirty! you had a blast picking up these woodchips and throwing back on the ground. It was cute cause you would bring your dirty hand over to me to have me brush them off. see, you're not that dirty of a girl! :)

you really liked the petting zoo. you growled at the goats, it was hilarious!

grandma helped you pet the bunnies, you liked that.

you're just precious. your very strong willed and determined. so when you wobble when you walk and topple over a lot it is adorable. you always get back up and rarely cry. you're tough!

i love you so much sweet pea, and I love that we got to take this little girls trip together!!!

some things that are making me realize you are growing up. as much as i want you to stay my baby forever, you are making strides in every area, and darn it if it isn't all the cutest! i love you so much baby girl, you're just the best!

you went to nap with a bottle! you make the sign for milk now too, which has always been for my milk, but it helped transition to the bottle too. you cried for just a second in your crib and then you must has guzzled your baba and fell asleep. you slept good too. we're just a real effort away from no more nursing. after our travels in Oct. you'll be all done.

you wanted a hair bow. you looked at them hanging on the wall, pointed, made a desperate noise, and then were tickled pink when i put one in your hair. i looooove what a girly-girl you are!

you go on the slide at the park. i hold your hand on the way down, but you can mostly go all by yourself!! you are very adventurous, it is cool (scary, but cool).

you are "talking" more now. you say "uh-oh" all the time, it is your best word.

next is "bu-buh" for bum bum which you like to touch when I change your diaper. ugh.

you said mama clear as day at my request ONCE, it counts, and Im taking what I can get.

You say "muh-muh" all the time now, but it means Elmo. go figure.

you sign a lot. you sign- more, all done, bye-bye, ni-night (my favorite cause you put your pointer finger to your lips like shhhhhh, it is darling!), milk, and no-no by shaking your finger back and forth.

You are smart and funny. You loooooove music and especially have found Baby Songs and Down Ducky to be mesmerizing. You watch them both so intensely. You like to dance and it cracks us up!!

Really you rule, in every single way.

Sweetie Sweets

Missy! Since you have been working so hard learning to walk we painted your toes and you looked so pretty!

You were very interested in the process....

You are walking sooooo good! You walk more now than crawl. You bonk your head a lot, but are learning quick.

Today you started talking.

We were having such a wonderful lunch today, just you and I. Sisters were at school and brother was napping. You were eating up some cheesy tortillas and drinking apple juice. I was trying to get you to talk and you DID IT, i was shocked and loving it and it seemed the more I laughed the more you enjoyed entertaining me. You mostly said "uh-oh" but you also got a kick out of shaking your head and say "na-na-na-na" for no no. Oh you would laugh too and smile and lift your eyebrows, we were cracking up!!

You were not about to miss out on a fall tradition...CARMEL APPLES!

You love sweets and you also love sinking your teeth into things, so this was perfect. Plus you got nice and sticky- so much fun and goodness.
