Christmas

Merry Christmas my little angel!  You are only 3 this year!  And the magic of Christmas is bursting around you!  You are so excited!!  You are so excited about Santa and getting presents!
It is a little hilarious, no true meaning of Christmas in your heart, it was all about the presents!  :)
As excited as you are about him, you still weren't real sure about getting very close to him...

You guys are best buddies! All in your Christmas PJs!
Julia is wearing Grinch pants, and you have a love hate relationship with Mr. Grinch.
You were PETRIFIED, I mean lose you mind can't be in the same house with that movie playing, SCARED of him.
I played into for a little, but the big kids were so excited about watching the movie I had to slowly acclimate you. So I brought you down and promised to hold you the whole time.  You were nervous but agreed.  It only took about 10 minutes of you seeing some funny parts and you realized he wasn't a horrible monster.  By the end of Christmas you were quoting and LAUGHING about that movie.  You LOVE the Grinch now.  (Well last year it was the same way, so we'll see if next Christmas you remember you liked him, cause this Christmas you didn't remember at all.)
You and Baylor found these hats in a store and melted my heart!
You were a big helper in the kitchen this year.
You always love stirring and putting the ingredients in the bowl.
You really enjoyed decorating cookies too!
I must say though, you's a little bossy Miss Miss and you get your way too much!  It is definitely nice being the "baby" of the family!  And it doesn't hurt that you're sooooo dang CUTE!!

Mom and Dad went to his work party and you really liked how "beautiful" I was.
This is one of my favorite candid pictures.
Mama's little love bug!!
You my girl Binny Pie!!

And then there is this one.
It is classic.
After sitting by the tree for about 5 minutes, I think ya'll'd had it!
hahahahaha
Merry Christmas!
Santa came through and you got all kinds of great new clothes and toys!
You were a HAPPY girl, even though you ended up being pretty sick with the stomach flu this year.

Aloha!

Brynny Pie!
You LOOOOVED Hawaii!
It was so much fun having you at 3 years old with us!
You were just so little and sweet and cute!
Aulani was a lot of fun.  You especially loved the kid water jungle gym!  You were a maniac!  You went on all the slides and crossed the bridges like you owned them.  You are so adventurous!!
There was a fantastic clubhouse called Aunties with every dress-up Princess dress there is, and you were quite smitten with that prospect!
We enjoyed the beach at Aulani!  You felt very safe in the calm waters and especially loved having your Princess floaty!

I loved watching you just play and play and play!  You loved the sand and playing with the water and toys in the sand.

love these sandy cheeks!!
Best Friends!
Baby cakes!  You are at the easiest age ever to take care of here.  You're little enough to be a naked jay-bird on the beach and old enough to be potty trained and not needing a nap to be jolly, you're just easy!  I LOVE YOU!!
My gorgeous Keiki!!
You and brother are such little buddies!

You are always there for each other...especially when there is shave ice involved.
You were tuckered out on our last day.  I love how cuddly you are!  Thankfully you woke up to eat at this fantastic taco shop!
Learning the HULA!  You love dancing and did sooo great!
The magic of Hawaii even you felt. At 3 years old you took moments like this to just soak in the majesty and peace of the water. Nature is sacred and you could feel it here on this beautiful island.  This was a magical vacation.  Hawaii is beautiful, pure, calming.  It spoke to our souls and we fell in love.  You ask all the time now that we;re back, "When are we going to Hawaii again!"  Not soon enough baby girl, not soon enough!  I will always be thankful though, that we went NOW.  Snuggling you on the warm Hawaiian air was priceless!

BALLERINA BABY!!

Holy Moly!
Would you look at how darn cute you are!
This was your first day of ballerina class!  You were soooooo excited!  Your teacher's name is Miss Essie.  You do tap and ballet and it is the cutest thing EVER!  You ride on the back of Mom's bike most days to get there.  Baylor comes with and we get to watch you on a tv, there is a camera in the studio!  SO AWESOME!  I told Baylor, "Its the Brynnly show!"  BEST SHOW EVER!!
You LOOOVED IT!  You listened so well and did so fantastic!  Your tap is THE cutest thing in the world to watch.  You walk on your heels and keep your little arms out, it is PRECIOUS!

This picture reminds me of you when you were a baby, you've ALWAYS liked keeping that tongue out!  You are my babycakes!!  So darling!!
You're poser too!  My goodness.  You got a new leotard and want to wear it 24/7!  You like getting to wear tights with no panties.  You are a natural dancer, you have rhythm and attitude, its so awesome.

The move to Oregon has been as you would say, "Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy".
You were my goodest helper painting!  I just love that little body!!

You have been taught the finer things in life...Trader Joe's sugar cookie kits.  Man they rock.  We also got out some hand-me-down Dora jammies.  You love them.  Happy Day!  You are so girly that way, loving new clothes and eating good treats!  You're the BEST!
We take lots of bike rides.  Here a ladybug went down your shirt!  HA!!!  You are diggin wearing the Lightening McQueen helmet too.  Accessories are a must!
You and B are best buddies.  You played restaurant and I brought you your lunch outside on a lovely sunny afternoon.  You two can laugh and laugh.  You've started some weird game, "Baby Smack"  that you just crack up about, I don't get it.  I do love hearing you talk and laugh with each other.
Um, you're a crazy girl too!  You and Lauren now share a room with the bunk beds!  You like (same as your siblings) to hang from the top bunk bars and squeal like a monkey.  Some times you even sleep in that bed, at least for a few hours.  Im in no hurry for you to grow up, so it is fine by me!  I love waking up to your little face in the mornings, although it is nice having you at least fall asleep in your own bed...listening to Lion King.
You and Mom had a special Date Day while Dad and the sibs went ice skating.  You're MY girl!!
YOU'RE SO STINKIN ADORABLE!!!  I LOOOOOVE YOU SO MUCH!!!
BIG GIRL swingin on the BIG swings!

You tried to listen to GC this time.  Nice try.
We are in a preschool here and we got to go to a Dairy Farm.  Ummm......
yeah that about sums it up, oh and this....
yep!  We SAW a baby cow be born!  HOLY COW!  Literally!!!  It was crazy cool, you were interested for sure.  We then had hamburgers for dinner.  So wrong!  But, yummmmmmy!
We got to go to pumpkin patch with Baylor's preschool.  FUN!! You were as adorable as ever!  I love that you let me do your hair now, you like pig tails and ponytails.  You're BEAUTIFUL!

Thanks for adding soooooo much love to my life!  You make me so happy and I am incredibly, beyond words grateful for you!!  You're such a lovey sweet girl.  You are stubborn at times and a little moody, but you ALWAYS (eventually) give in or apologize and do what I want or like.  You're really the best!  I love your strong personality, it will be such an asset to you in life.  I am continually PROUD of you and just adore you 110%!!!

My Girl...

originally posted on Sweet Happy Life as Brynnly Brynnly Brynnly:
Grandma sent you a new fancy dress for dress up, but of course you LOVE it and wear it all the time.
Unless you change it to wear your all time MUST: "a shirtn' skirt".
We got you fancied up with "cullers" and took pictures.

You remind me of Lauren soooooo much!  She was VERY particular about what she wore as well.  I can't decide if she was as particular as you, but I think so.  Another particularity you have is TUCKING IN your shirts!  Whew, man, not my favorite style, but there is NO persuading you otherwise.  Grandma also sent you 3 new shirts and you immediately wanted me to get your 3 skirts (which range in size 18 months to 2T, but they are all you'll wear so I haven't taken them out of your closet yet) to decide which one would go with which skirt.
My little fashionista!
Nice Job!!

And your apparel choices go beyond yourself.  Poor Moby has fallen victim as of late.
And she loves it....not really.
 She needed.....a hat, of course.

I wonder why Moby keeps running away?
Seriously kid, you are THE BEST!
You love Moby!!  Even though she isn't all that playful, you do snuggle her when you can.  She is very patient with you I must admit.

And my favorite moment of you lately is 2 weeks ago when I went to visit Dad in Portland.  I left you and your sibs with The Ahlstrom Family.  I haven't ever left you guys like that, this was everyones first time and you were only 3!  Obviously I hadn't done that with Julia or Lauren and it wouldn't have been even thinkable, so I was so proud of you for totally being able to handle it, no doubt in thanks to having your 2nd moms by your side.  Anyway you did great and we didn't really talk on the phone because one time you just cried and it killed me.  You talked to Dad the other times and were fine.  I couldn't wait to get back to you.  So Sunday morning when I got home I went straight to church to let you guys know I was back.  I went into your nursery and you were eating fishy crackers, I came up behind you and you turned around and JUMPED out of your chair and said, "MOMMY!!!!" and I scooped you up and you squeezed me so tight!  I just held you like that for the longest time.  You gave no signal to put you down and it felt WONDERFUL!  I know you love me, but in that moment man, I felt it ALL.  You're my gurl.  Looove loooove loooove YOU!!!
