SHOTS For Our Trip

Are we still going to England???!  I HOPE SO!

I am pretty resigned to the fact that we won't be going to France.  The Corona Virus outbreak is getting worse there and they border Italy which is REAL REAL bad.  I don't want to risk going to France.  I am taking every precaution and getting the kids every shot they need before we go.

Baylor and Brynnly got Flu shots this morning.

Brynnly was soooo freaked out and cried so hard.  She hates all things medical and especially shots.

I wouldn't let them sit down in the doctors' office and we stood way far away on the other side of the room from other patients, especially ones who came in and put on masks!  Ewww!!  

Gold Dust Or Bust

Brynnly's 4th grade performance was today!

She did soooo fantastic!  She's made for the stage.

Seriously look how adorable she is!!!

Grandma came to town to see this and we brought Brynnly lunch to eat with her.

She gets a little more shy around her friends, thats ok.

We still liked seeing her at school and meet her friends.

She had a big part at the beginning, explaining all about what the Gold Rush was all about.

She also sang throughout and was so good!  She knew every song and every word!

I was so very proud of her, she worked hard and it paid off.

Way to go Brynners!

Just an 80's mom doing 80's mom things...crimping her daughter's hair!

I took the Bs to Target after school to find something they could pull together for their 80's dance that night.  Umm, score.  Thank you Target. Brynnly was partially mortified...this is not her look.

But she got into it the more I explained it's basically like Halloween.

Ryan met us there and we danced and laughed and watched these crazy kids.

It was a really fun night!

CA Christmas

Christmas season was great. 

It seems to go fast every year now. 

Santa still found us in our new place. To nobody’s delight more than Brynnly’s. 

 

Brynnly was thrilled with her giant puppy. She wrote to Santa and asked for a new puppy and a giant stuffed sloth. Looks like Santa compromised. Santa got the message from me: NO REAL DOGS. 

Aunt Wendy came to stay with us for Christmas and she got you roller skates!

You were skating all over the house! You love them!!

It was a very nice California Christmas!

 The next day we took Wendy to Muir Woods. 

It was a beautiful place to spend together and relax after Christmas. 

Muir Woods is one of my favorite CA places.

We visited the John Muir National Historic Site today.

It was super cool to learn more about him and walk around his old house and property.

We got to ring this old bell that brought everyone in from the fields.

Uh you two are hilarious!

Halloween Is On It's Way!

 We were at Target tonight and we came across this Sven onesie. I thought they were only for littles, but nope, they had your size! There was no way we weren't getting it! Best thing yet, I think we will ALL do a Frozen family themed Halloween!!!  WOoHOO! You have been thinking and planning Halloween costumes with girls at school (M&Ms), but it isn't working out. So this was super exciting!
