First Day of 4th Grade

First Day of 4th Grade!

You are so wonderful and adorable and BRAVE!

You are going to ANOTHER new school this year.

Finally you are able to go with Baylor to Brentwood Elementary School.

Your teacher Mrs. Hernandez is finishing up cancer treatments so you will start with Mrs. Dearman, a long term sub. We know how awesome long term subs are, so I am not worried.

You are not either!

You are so confident and strong, I just love how you move forward in life and don't let things stop you from being your very best.

This cracked me up!!!

Gosh I love you to pieces.

We came in and got you settled in your classroom.

You instantly knew where your clip would be sitting on the clip chart.

Look at that knowing smile!! Gosh you are just THE BEST! 

I sure will miss yo guys!!!

Frozen Jr.- Your Debut

You made your stage debut tonight as a townsperson and then a rock troll in 

FROZEN Jr. with Ghostlight Theatre

You were soooooo excited about his opportunity. At your audition you just did fantastic.

I am so amazed you have ZERO fear.

I guess you are too full of JOY!

Your enthusiasm, excitement, and sheer joy bursts through when you're on stage.

I'm pretty sure townspeople were supposed to be background roles, but I was all "Elsa who??", because you stole the show (for me at least). 

Cutest Little Rock troll there ever was.

I love that you have found your passion!

It will be so fun to support you as you continue to audition and perform in the future, because girl, I know you are going places!!

So Cal Trip

This was an unforgettable trip down to our happy place- Southern California.

We started by hiking to the Hollywood sign.

This was a hard HARD HOT hike!

We honestly started too late in the day, it was so hot. Poor Willy was dying!

We didn't bring water, it was just crazy, BUT we did it!

You especially did really fantastic!

Check out that beautiful view of the City of Angels!

You are MY angel about it all!

After that crazy hike we were STARVING!

We found this awesome taco restaurant and ate on the patio, it was on Sunset Blvd. and gave us all the famous low key movie star vibes.

We went to Rodeo Dr. and walked around the Gucci store!

We got ice cream near UCLA at Diddy Riese.

Then we ended the day walking through the Venice Canals.

Now here is a place I should live!

We went to Huntington Beach the next day.

As soon as we got there, the life guards were giving warnings that there were sting rays in the water.

We didn't pay no mind... so many people were in the water, I told you it would be FiiiiiiinE!

And it was...for you.

Dad on the other hand....he got STUNG by a sting ray!!!!

It was so sad. But he toughed it out and all was well.

You guys then had fun at the hotel pool swimming.

MOM Camp

Since I didn't want sisters to go to Girls Camp, I created MOM CAMP! 

Our theme was Moana and we had such a great weekend at Pismo Beach. I mean we camped near the beach!!! It was amazing!

 

As you can see, you were instrumental in helping set up the tent!

The site was a little rough, but it was cool to just be able to walk to the beach from our site.

We stayed 2 nights.

Our 2nd day we drove to the beach with all our gear.

You could drive right on the beach!!!

It was pretty overcast the whole day, which was a little bummer, but we still had a lot of fun!

We went on a long walk, played in the water, collected shells and sand dollars, played card games, and ate lots of food!

You tried to not get your shorts and panties wet.

It did not work! Hahaha! You're so funny.

Nice of you to offer Willie some watermelon!

Our last morning we all worked to clean everything up and head home.

We had a little lesson and I wanted everyone to remember to listen to your heart and follow wherever it leads you. I love you so much!!!

Alcatraz!

Sometime, MOST times, I can't get over that we live right near San Francisco!

We had friends come to town so we went into the city and took a tour of Alcatraz.

We came across this sign....it's your girl! You had to take a picture with it.

We took the ferry across the bay to Alcatraz Island.

Alcatraz was CREEPY!

You were really into it though. We got to wear these headphones that walked you around the prison and told you stories about life for the inmates there.

You look so cute and little here...

Im glad we don't have to visit anyone in jail!!

So we then drove our friends to the Golden Gate Bridge.

We walked around and came back to find our van and their SUV had their windows smashed out and some things stolen. It was VERY traumatic.

I had actually been worried about this, I heard it happened, but couldn't believe it actually did!

We got VERY VERY INCREDIBLY LUCKY and the police found the criminal and we got our things back. What a scary experience though! We had to drive all the way home without our windows too!

SUMMER IS HERE!!!

We are in LOVE!

My goal is to get you out of that life jacket by the end of summer... maybe get you to jump off the diving board too!!

Wooooohooooo it is going to be FUN!!!
