You are so much FUN, so tiny and cute and I am so grateful you are MINE.

This chocolate dripping smile, with your eyes electrified with attention and happiness was the BEST thing about our time together.  Just BEING with you Brynnly is exciting, happy, joyful.  I honestly can't remember what we talked about (but Im sure it had something to do with Princesses), but I know we were just reveling in being TOGETHER.  I was overwhelmed with gratitude for you and whispered, "thank you for coming to our family" and I reminded you that "you are a miracle!", I never  take that for granted and I don't want you to ever forget it.  I don't think I have ever seen you so bursting with happiness and it melts my heart that it wasn't just cause of the fro-yo.

Royalty Abounds

Yesterday the future King of England was born.  Today we were glued to the tv to see him make his first public appearane.

You'll not remember this, but you will probably see him take the throne, so it is cool you watched him come out of hospital.

Oh how I adore the British Monarchy.

I think I am training you up to admire it as well......

Your birthDAY...

On July 20th the world became a better place, because YOU entered it.  We celebrated you while also preparing to live a little while without Dad as he was leaving for our new home...Portland, OR!  First you opened up your presents...

 this little box was from Lauren, she didn't know what to give you so she filled this box up with M&Ms- so simple and you LOOOOVED it!  Sisters are SOOOOO wonderful!

We headed up to RMNP so Dad could see our favorite hike- Alberta Falls.

Who could have imagined, in 3 years this is what we'd be doing???  I remember the day you were born with such fabulous memory.  It was one of the BEST days of my life.  Bringing you home too was just magical, and every day since has been glorious!  You complete our family so perfectly, I just could not imagine life without YOU!

You took a pretty bad fall too this time.  Poor baby birthday girl!!  We were so sad for you.

You got a BIG bleed, Dad even took off his sock to help stop the bleeding.  Some nice hikers came by and gave you Barbie band-aids, which helped a lot.  But after that you really couldn't walk so I carried you...

Oh, and an Old Navy trip where you picked out this dress and insisted on wearing it even though it was a little chilly for it.

Since it was your birthday we HAD to order dessert, Mama never got to making you ANOTHER Princess cake as you had requested...but I think this substitute was still well received.

3rd Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRYNNLY!

My magical miraculous surprise baby!

How have 3 years passed???

You have become a force to be reckoned with!

You are spirited, passionate, full of angst-excitement-joy-revenge-and best of all LOVE.

You are a lot like Mama.

You are learning to control all those STRONG emotions.

You are quick to react and quicker to feel remorse and be apologetic.

You are sensitive for sure; not in a dramatic way, but in a true tender hearted way.  Sometimes you just fall apart and sometimes you attack back.

You insist on sleeping with Mom.  You once in awhile will settle for Dad, but Mama makes you feel the most comforted.  You like to be "snuggled" which is being rubbed/tickled on you back, arms, and legs.

You like being sung to at bed time (Lala Lu and I Am A Child Of God).  You do not like listening to music or having a nightlight on.  You have started saying prayers on your own again, you use to then refused, but have started again and they are so precious.

I love how you say "free" for three.

You are SMART.

You speak well and express your needs and desires exceptionally well.

You love learning and are thrilled right now to be learning to write the letter B.

You know a lot of stuff.

You are a Disney Princess expert!

You go through lots of bandaids.

You fall down all the time.  You have lots and lots of boo-boos.

You're very very tough, it is seriously impressive!

You are gorgeous.

You are opinionated about your looks.

You HATE piggytails even though you look beyond words adorable in them.

You even know which direction you like to have you hair brushed.  

You love curls which you call, "curlers".

You wear dressES all day every day.  Sometimes opting for a "skirt & a shirt".

It is a HUGE task to get you to wear shorts.

You change your clothes by yourself multiple times a day!  Drives me a little loco!  When I see a play chair pulled up to your dresser it makes me smile, you're so clever and determined.

You have taken to wearing your sparkly blue stretchy pants with your Ariel swimsuit and play dress-up shoes- its real classy looking; doesn't embarrass me at all or make me think we live in a trailer park.

You are an entertainer for sure.

You love dancing for us!

I can't wait to get you in a dance program this year!!

Your favorite to dance to is Adel's Rolling In The Deep.  

Not sure there is anything cuter than you saying, "can we listen to Adel?"

You are amazing Brynnly Kathleen.

I am so thankful for you.

I know 3 is getting big, but you are my baby.

You still have such a baby voice, (when you're not SQUEALING), it is quite darling to listen to.

Our last Rockies Game

We dropped off Uncle Luke and Megan at the airport today, they were here for your birthday.  I just had to include this picture.  You LOVE them!!!
 And then
tonight we went to a Rockies Game...our last one while being CO residence at least.  It was SUPER FUN!  You were such a BIG GIRL!  And get this, you have to pay for children 3 and up and you are not 3 until TOMORROW! HOLLA!  That was fantastic timing!!!  Wot-woot!!

You enjoyed our makeshift stadium food dinner....mmmmmmm NACHOS.

How cool are you?  You eat SALSA.  Cause you're such a spicy lil thing!  ;)

It was a FANTASTIC NIGHT!  Fun had all night long!  We lasted the WHOLE game, which is much better than the first game we took you to in which we arrived in the 7th inning!  I love all the memories we make at these games.  LOOOOVE YOU Brynners!

It is so darling when you say this.  I love it when you're in my lap or squeezing my neck when you say it.  It is for sure the highest compliment one can receive from you.   And for sure Brynnly "You're the bestest baby girl I never seen!"  I LOVE YOU!


"I got a BLEED!"  this is what you say when you fall down and skin your knees.  It is so sad.  And so cute.  You usually are fine until you see the actual blood and scrape and then you wail, "I goooot a BLEEEEED!!!"  The injustice this provokes in you is almost unbearable for your little soul.  I do my best to make it all better- kisses, Princess bandaids, and a popsicle provide immense relief.

Your FIRST Camping Trip!

You guys joined Mom & Dad for their 13 year Anniversary camping trip in Estes Park, CO.

So many choices!  You decided on stwa-bare-weeee!

You kept your self entertained while the tent was being put up and dinner was being prepared.....

Big huge scary slide you went down twice with me.  You were so proud and shouted, I DID IT".  Then Lauren started crying and it made you cry and you said through all your crying,  "I want to go again".  You're so funny!

"Roasting" Marshmallows

You were afraid of the fire so you didn't exactly roast them- didn't matter to you, it was a 

marshmallow free for all!  Happy Day!

You guys are wild maniacs!  HILARIOUS!  Jumping from blow-up mattress to blow-up mattress. 

Oh my sleeping angel.  We slept in the same sleeping bag all night, just snuggley close.  I was always so concerned about you being cold.  You took your hat off at some point and I eventually put it back on.  When I woke up in the morning and looked at this precious face tears welled up in my eyes.  You are so beautiful and just perfect.  I am so thankful for you.  I love you with all my heart.  Im so thankful you're my baby!!
