2nd Grade Field Day

It was a very successful and FUN field day!

Brynnly was one tough anchor!  They won every time with her as anchor!

Oh man the water bucket challenge was a HIT!

 Brynnly and Delaney were pretty pumped to do so good at the water balloon toss!

Another race you tried really hard in was the plunger relay.  I love that cutie smile you gave me.  

The 2nd grade just missed water bombs for the second year in a row!  They were bummed, so I talked the music teacher into squirting them with the hose!  They LOVED it!  How is Field Day even a thing if you're not drenched at some point?!?

It was a wonderful afternoon and I was so glad to have been able to go.

We walked around Target to try and pass the time before you had to go to dance class.

We found this jumper made of terrycloth and I had you try it on.

It was straight out of the 70s!

Another PRIDE Award

So proud of this AMAZING 2nd grader!

Brynnly loves music and is soooo naturally talented in it!

Cooking and riding a bike

 Little Miss was soooo excited to make breakfast for her siblings Saturday morning.  She made menus the night before, literally handwritten menus and made sure Ryan set an alarm for her to be the first one up.  She set the table and waited for each sister and brother to wake up.

She worked diligently to make parfaits and cereal for them.  She even washed strawberries.

I just love how she's on her tip toes to make her food.

She's still so little.

I love too that she put that black bow in her hair.  Such a proper waitress.

Later that day was THE DAY!

FIIIIIINALLY!
She learned to ride a bike!

First Lauren was helping her because we were doing a garage sale.  Then Ryan took over and I supported the effort by telling Brynnly she couldn't come back home until she could ride that bike!  Hahahaha!  I'm so helpful.  Once I saw significant improvement I came out to cheer and capture the miracle.  WooHoo!!  She's not super in love with it and kind of still scared, but we made major progress!  This summer we will be doing LOTS of bike riding!!  YAY!!!

PRIDE Award

Today we were both suprised when you were announced as the Achievement Award winner.  Nobody even told me you were getting it.  THEN you got ANOTHER one!!  You were the highest achieving in both reading and math!!  WHAAAAAT!!?!?!?!  YAY!!! GO Brynners!!

You were s so VERY proud, as well you should be!!  

I am beyond proud of you, and just know you're the brightest star in 2nd grade!

It's Great to be 8

We went to 8 is Great at church tonight.

This is your big year!

We already have the California Birthday trip planned and are looking forward to getting you a beautiful white dress all in celebration of the most important thing you can do...Follow Your Savior Jesus Christ and be baptized in His name to promise to do as He has taught all the days of your life.

It is a big decision, but it is also an easy one.

You already have a heart of gold.

You know Jesus and Heavenly Father are real and they love you.

You care deeply for others and love them.

Keep doing those things, repenting when you make a mistake, and continue on your journey.

Frozen the Musical

We went to see the Fozen Musical and it was soooo incredible!!
You weren't sure if you wanted to wear your Elsa dress, but I convinced you and you were SO happy you did!  EVERY girl there was in one!  And you were the PRETTIEST!!!  I told you you're almost out grown this dress, so you might as well wear it once more.

You are the best Miss!!!
