I had to capture these two walking to school today.
It was a glorious morning.  It's starting to cool off and I love walking with my Bs to school.
 Wilsonville loves coming along too.

While Lauren was in dance we went to the Longmont Library to read Harry Potter.  I snagged this picture of you looking at the picture books.  You are the sweetest!! I love how much you love books and are so very very smart!

And here you are in all your glory!
Miss Thang!
YOU are THE Best!!!!

You keep my smiling and laughing. You're just so fun and spunky!
I love that you know you are strong and talented and beautiful!

Baptism

This is the last baptism in our family.  It felt so crazy that this day has come.  I remember Brynnly being an infant at Julia's baptism, and now here we are on her special day.
These were the invites I made.
We didn't really give them out...I was wondering why I was making them, other than I can't help myself.  We had taken these pretty pictures in the Spring when she had all her teeth and the beautiful lilacs were in bloom, and I wanted to make something with them.

The morning of her baptism she wanted very much to help make the cakepops...she did more than just lick the spoons too.  I rolled and dipped, then she covered the white chocolate in purple sugar and white chocolate pearls.  (I am so bummed we didn't get any pictures of the lovely purple spread).
We also made rice krispie treats.

We got to the church about 30 minutes early and she walked to the font to watch it filling up.
The room was so steamy.
We went to get some pictures...her and her daddy.  So cute!  With Jesus setting the example in the background.

We took some outside in that gorgeous dress!!  I love this dress and I love how it is so Brynnly.  Each pf the girls had their own styles with their dresses and I love that.  I love celebrating their uniqueness and beauty.  All those ruffles, layers, and the summer cut of a tank top was just perfect.  Brynnly is definitely my daughter with the most layers to her.
We got a wonderful family picture.
Everyone was so happy for this special day and it shows.
I love that about our family, how we all rally and are so happy for one another and love to celebrate each other.  I especially love that this is our first generation church family.  Brynnly is my last child to be baptized but from here on out, all the ordinances will just keep growing our family and more wonderful people and darling miracle children will keep getting added and we will keep being there to support one another.

Lauren's BFF Grace was with us this weekend!
YAY!!  Our friends are like family!!

I came in and found sisters helping Brynnly get dressed!  HOW SWEET IS THAT!?!?  I loved it!
I know it will be the same way on their wedding days.  Sisters are so special.
And these three are FUNNY too!!!
We have the best times together!

The dress.

The pantsuit.

Mama and her girl!
I love you so much Brynnly Kathleen!!!!
It was amazing to me that my BABY girl is getting baptized.  But you have grown up so beautifully so smart and so good.  You love Jesus and have the most tender heart.  I am glad you want to follow Him and stand as a witness for Christ.  I hope you remember this day and use it as a great starting block for learning about Christ and how He can work in your life and help you have peace and joy.

You two looked so cute together in your suits!!
You are teh biggest BFFs!!!

Julia gave a wonderful talk about baptism and gave you a KitKat to remember your promises.
She loves you and was so proud of you.
FINALLY it was your turn to be baptized!
All the kids came to watch YOU!
It was so fun....
Dad gave you some final advise about getting in the water.  You soon found out why the room felt steamy, that water was H.O.T!!!
Dad showed you how to hold him so you would be all good going under the water.  He said the prayer and you did it!
Just LOOK at that HUGE SMILE as you came out of the water!  You were so amazed and delighted and happy!!!  It was awesome helping you get back into your dress.  You kept saying you couldn't believe how wet you were, which I thought was so funny.  You even asked if Julia, Lauren, and Baylor got this wet.  Um, yes, of course.  What did you think happened when you went under water?  It was just darling.  A total submersive experience.
Lauren then gave the talk on the Holy Ghost.
Mom helped her with this talk and she gave you little gifts with each thing that the Holy Ghost does for you.  Your favorite gift was the gift of comfort and you were given a big fluffy white blanket with your name embroidered.
You were so adorable.  You were given gifts from Patti Ranous and took home your pretty purple and white tulips.
This is my favorite picture!
You two are THE best!

To celebrate we thought we'd keep with the wet theme and took everyone to the Brighton Oasis.
Such good times and fun memories!
That night you got to cuddle up in your new blankie and were one blessed little angel girl.

8th Birthday Trip

I loved this sign welcomed us! California is definitely FUNNER than anywhere else and we were ready to have the FUNNEST time ever celebrating our FUNNEST girl ever!

First stop: Laguna Beach

A couple big waves worked together to take you out... you got knocked down and swept up a little and that was it.  You were done with this dumb ocean.  So I helped make a cute Mickey themed heart for you to sit in.  Our special Birthday Girl!!!  We were sooooo happy to be there celebrating you and soaking up all the sun and fun your special trip brings!

The next day we spent with Wendy at the San Diego Zoo!

Riding the sky liners was a little scary, but super awesome!

Ending the day with ice cream was perfect! Wendy sure adores you!!!

The next day we went to LaJolla Beach. It was a perfect beach day for you. The water was soooo calm and you loved it.

We left Wendy and got back to LA to hang out with Dad. We stayed in out favorite hotel and did some night swimming! Then we got In n Out burger!!!

Our next day was spent in LA. We went to Griffith Observatory and saw the Hollywood sign! Man we love it here!!

We could check into the Disney Paradise Pier Hotel at 3 and we were there right on time! We have been most excited about this part!! One of the things we most looked forward to was the dinner at the hotel and it did not disappoint! BIRTHDAYS at Disney are soooo SPECIAL!

Look at you my love! A sweeter face God has not created. You are not just beautiful, you are darling, precious, delightful, happy, and so so sweet. We love you so much! I will be thankful every single day of my life that God made you and gave you to me..to us. Our whole family is better because you are here!

Rock and Roll!!! You showered up, got some new Minnie PJs and tried to sleep before our big day tomorrow!

 WOOHOOO! FINALLY WE'RE HERE!!!

We made reservations at the Minnie Mouse breakfast. It was so wonderful! We ate a ton of delicious food and got to see a bunch of characters!

I'm sorry. This isn't nice, but it just tickles me to no end how nervous you get on the Jungle Cruise! Look at you holding my hand, and that face full of anxiety! My poor baby girl!

You survived though..like every single time.

Ice cream makes it all better!

I have no idea what is going on here, but it is hilarious! Try the grey stuff...it's delicious!

DAY 2 California Adventure! On your BIRTHDAY!!!  HAPPY 8th Brynnly!!

Back for one more Disney Day!

This is how my heart feels when I look at you four.
I explode with love and gratitude and joy and bliss!
I LOVE YOU!

Our last ride together on the rockets!  I loved holding you tight and looking out over Disneyland with you, my special girl!

In your new favorite hoodie, all 8 years old, and ready to take on the world!
YOU LIGHT UP OUR LIVES!

We'd planned and looked forward to this trip for so long, especially Birthday Girl Brynnly.  For it to be over was just a bit too much to handle.  Tears were shed.  So we hugged Disneyland good-bye, until NEXT time!  There will definitely be a next time.  And we'll hold all these memories in our hearts forever!
